This is a wonderful idea!! Affordable. Keeps the water relatively clean. Secures the area and safeguards children from unwanted access. Ambient temperature is better regulated. Year-round pool use. As I said. A wonderful idea.

Towards the end, did you nail the wall into the base? How does that stay structural over time? It seems like not enough? Maybe the dome on top add the structural integrity?

I'm curious to know how many panels in a geodesic could be openable. I have an idea of making something that nearly fully opens in the heat but still seals up tight or at least sheds water well enough to keep everything dry.

Can you make a deck pack on your website for people who already have a yurt or dome but need a deck for them? I also see you only have domes on the website and not yurts, and I need a yurt to make it through the extreme cold in winter where I am. I would have certainly purchased your deck plans or kit if you had them! And if you sold a yurt pack I might have gone for that too!
